Press Release 22 April 2010, Mumbai: Quantum Mutual Fund, India's 1st direct to investor mutual fund recently announced the introduction of their Daily & Weekly Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) in the Quantum Liquid Fund. As of April 16, 2010 investors can avail of this facility while investing in the company’s funds.
Through this new facility, unit holders of the Quantum Liquid Fund can opt to transfer a fixed amount to any of the other funds of Quantum Mutual Fund, viz - the Quantum Long Term Equity Fund, Quantum Tax Saving Fund and the Quantum Equity Fund of Funds.
This option is ideal for investors who are wary of investing in an equity fund all at once, and who prefer having the stability of returns from a liquid fund while slowly investing in equities to generate higher returns. The STP option is also a good way to invest in equity markets in a phased manner.
Using this facility, investors can invest on a daily basis in instalments of as low as Rs 100 (on business days only) or on a weekly basis for a minimum of Rs 500.
Speaking on this announcement, IV Subramaniam, Director, Quantum Asset Management Company said, ``The Quantum Long Term Equity Fund’s Daily Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) option has seen a very encouraging response from our investors. The inclusion of a Daily & Weekly STP option was a natural evolution to provide added convenience to investors. Considering the added convenience for investors, we are positive that we shall see a good uptake."
Quantum Mutual Fund has previously tied-up with the mutual fund trading platforms, viz - NSE MFSS and BSE StAR MF, and has expanded its application collection points to 212 Karvy centres across the country, to make investing more convenient for investors. Statutory Details: Quantum Mutual Fund (the Fund) has been constituted as a Trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882. Sponsors: Quantum Advisors Private Limited. (liability of Sponsor limited to Rs. 1,00,000/-) Trustee: Quantum Trustee Company Private Limited. Investment Manager: Quantum Asset Management Company Private Limited (AMC).
